Resin
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000328
A liquid photopolymer material used in vat polymerization additive manufacturing processes, such as stereolithography (SLA) and digital light processing (DLP). This viscous liquid solidifies when exposed to specific wavelengths of light, forming the layers of a 3D object. Resins are formulated with different properties to achieve specific mechanical, thermal, or aesthetic characteristics in the final printed part.
