Ultraviolet light
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000400
Electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths shorter than visible light, ranging from approximately 10 nm to 400 nm. In additive manufacturing, UV light is used to cure or solidify photopolymer resins in processes like vat photopolymerization (VPP) and material jetting. The specific wavelength of UV light must match the photoinitiator in the resin for effective curing.
