Direct laser melting

Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000106

A powder bed fusion additive manufacturing process that uses a high-power laser to fully melt and fuse metallic powder particles layer by layer. Direct Laser Melting (DLM) creates dense, functional metal parts with properties comparable to traditionally manufactured components. This process is often used for high-performance applications in aerospace and medical industries.
