Laser sintering
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000195
An additive manufacturing process that uses a laser to selectively fuse powdered material, typically polymers or metals, layer by layer to build a 3D object. The laser heats the powder to just below its melting point, causing the particles to bond together without fully liquefying. Unfused powder acts as support for the printed part.
