High speed sintering
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000170
A powder bed fusion additive manufacturing process that uses infrared heaters to selectively sinter polymer powder layers. A print head deposits an infrared-absorbing ink onto the powder, which then absorbs heat from the lamps, causing the underlying powder to fuse. This method offers high build speeds and produces parts with good mechanical properties.
