Binder

Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000033

A material used in additive manufacturing to join powder particles together, forming a solid object. In binder jetting, a liquid binder is selectively deposited onto a powder bed to create each layer of the part. After printing, parts often undergo a curing or sintering step to achieve final mechanical properties.
