Direct ink writing
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000105
A material extrusion additive manufacturing process that dispenses a viscous, paste-like material through a nozzle onto a substrate to build three-dimensional structures layer by layer. The ink solidifies rapidly after deposition, often through solvent evaporation, UV curing, or thermal setting. This method is suitable for creating complex geometries with high resolution using materials such as ceramics, polymers, and composites.
