Polytetrafluoroethylene
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000300
A synthetic fluoropolymer known for its exceptional non-stick properties, chemical inertness, and high temperature resistance. PTFE is challenging to process with conventional additive manufacturing methods due to its high melt viscosity and poor flow characteristics. Specialized techniques like paste extrusion or direct ink writing are sometimes employed for specific applications.
