Centrifugal barrel finishing
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000067
A post-processing technique used to smooth, deburr, and polish 3D printed parts by tumbling them in a rotating barrel with abrasive media. The centrifugal force generated accelerates the media, increasing the impact and friction on the part surfaces. This method is effective for achieving uniform surface finishes on complex geometries.
