Abrasive fluids
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000006
Liquids containing suspended abrasive particles, used in post-processing additive manufactured parts to achieve specific surface finishes. These fluids are circulated or agitated around the printed object, causing the particles to gently abrade the surface. The choice of fluid and abrasive type depends on the material of the printed part and the desired level of surface smoothness or texture.
