Bead blasting
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000027
A post-processing technique that propels small, spherical media, such as glass beads, at a 3D printed part's surface using compressed air. This process removes loose powder, smooths rough textures, and creates a uniform matte finish. The media size and pressure are adjusted based on the desired surface finish and material.
