Polyethylene terephthalateglycol
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000292
A modified version of polyethylene terephthalate, abbreviated as PETG, that incorporates glycol during polymerization to improve its ductility and ease of processing. This thermoplastic is widely used as a filament in fused deposition modeling (FDM) due to its good layer adhesion, strength, and transparency. PETG is a common material for functional prototypes and consumer products.
