Warping
Term · Additive manufacturing and 3D printing · MLC-T-ADM-000413
A deformation phenomenon where a printed part curls, lifts, or distorts from its intended shape, often due to uneven cooling or internal stresses. This issue is common in fused deposition modeling and other processes involving thermal gradients. Warping can lead to poor adhesion to the build plate and dimensional inaccuracies in the final product.
