Atomic units
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000906
A system of natural units used in atomic physics and quantum chemistry, where fundamental physical constants are set to unity. These units simplify calculations by removing numerical constants from equations. The unit of length is the Bohr radius, and the unit of mass is the electron rest mass.
