Environmental damage

Any adverse alteration to the physical, chemical, or biological components of the environment caused by human activities or natural disasters. This can include pollution of air, water, or soil, habitat destruction, or loss of biodiversity. Such damage can have long-term consequences for ecosystems and human health.
