Mass flow rate
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006979
The quantity of mass of a substance passing through a given cross-sectional area per unit of time. It is a measure of the rate of mass transport and is commonly used in fluid dynamics and chemical processes. The standard unit for mass flow rate is kilograms per second (kg/s).
