Photon flow
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008898
The rate at which photons are emitted, transferred, or received by a surface or through a given cross-sectional area. It represents the number of photons per unit time, often expressed in photons per second. This quantity is distinct from radiant power, which measures energy per unit time, as photon flow specifically counts individual light quanta.
