Spectral photon flux

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011134

The number of photons incident on a surface per unit area, per unit time, per unit wavelength interval. This quantity describes the spectral distribution of incident photons. It is commonly expressed in units of photons per square meter per second per nanometer (photons m^-2 s^-1 nm^-1).
