Spectral photon radiance

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011136

The number of photons emitted or reflected from a surface per unit area, per unit solid angle, per unit time, per unit wavelength interval. This quantity describes the directional and spectral distribution of photon emission. It is typically expressed in units of photons per square meter per steradian per second per nanometer (photons m^-2 sr^-1 s^-1 nm^-1).
