Spectral photonic yield
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011137
The ratio of the rate of a specific photochemical or photophysical process to the rate of incident photons at a particular wavelength. It quantifies the efficiency of a light-induced process as a function of the wavelength of the absorbed light. This yield is a dimensionless quantity, often expressed as a percentage.
