Relative photonic efficiency
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010155
The ratio of the rate of a given photocatalytic reaction to the rate of a reference photocatalytic reaction, measured under identical experimental conditions. This dimensionless quantity allows for the comparison of the performance of different photocatalysts or reaction systems. The reference reaction is often the degradation of a standard compound, such as 4-chlorophenol, under specified irradiation and concentration.
