Relative preconcentration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010156
A process in analytical chemistry where the concentration of an analyte in a sample is increased relative to other components, without necessarily increasing its absolute amount. This technique aims to improve the detection limits of trace substances by reducing matrix interferences or increasing the analyte signal. It is often achieved through methods like solvent extraction or solid-phase extraction.
