Calibrant in extraction phase
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001573
A substance with a known concentration that is added to the extraction phase to establish a relationship between the analytical signal and the analyte concentration. This calibrant is used to correct for matrix effects or variations in extraction efficiency. It is distinct from a calibrant added to the sample before extraction.
