Dynamic extraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003490
An extraction method where fresh solvent or extracting phase is continuously passed through or over the sample matrix, carrying away the extracted analytes. This continuous flow maintains a favorable concentration gradient, enhancing the efficiency and speed of the extraction process compared to static methods. Techniques like accelerated solvent extraction and supercritical fluid extraction often employ dynamic extraction principles.
