Flow-through extraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004503
A method of extraction where a solvent continuously passes through a solid or semi-solid sample matrix to remove target analytes. The fresh solvent constantly contacts the sample, carrying away extracted compounds. This technique is often employed in automated systems for environmental analysis or natural product isolation.
