Automated extraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000991
A process of separating a substance from a matrix using mechanical or robotic systems to perform the extraction steps without direct human intervention. This approach involves programmed sequences for solvent addition, mixing, phase separation, and collection. It is often employed in high-throughput analytical laboratories to increase sample processing capacity.
