Continuous liquid-liquid extraction

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002497

A technique for separating components from a liquid mixture by continuously passing a fresh portion of an immiscible solvent through the sample. This process allows for the exhaustive extraction of analytes that have limited solubility in the extracting solvent. The solvent is typically recycled after separation from the extract.
