Extraction

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004288

A separation technique that selectively transfers one or more components from a solid or liquid mixture into a different phase, typically a solvent. This process relies on differences in solubility or chemical affinity between the components and the extracting phase. It is widely used in analytical chemistry for sample preparation and purification.
