Solid-phase extraction

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011000

A sample preparation technique that uses a solid sorbent to isolate analytes from a liquid sample matrix. The analytes are adsorbed onto the sorbent, interfering components are washed away, and then the analytes are eluted with a suitable solvent. This method is widely used for purification and concentration in analytical chemistry.
