Matrix-solid phase dispersion
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007036
A sample preparation technique where a solid or semi-solid sample is blended with a sorbent material to disrupt the sample matrix and facilitate the extraction of analytes. The resulting homogeneous mixture is then packed into a column, and analytes are eluted using appropriate solvents. This method is effective for extracting compounds from complex biological and food samples.
