Exhaustive extraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004207
A process designed to remove essentially all of an analyte or group of analytes from a sample matrix. This method continues until the concentration of the target substance in the extractant falls below a predetermined detection limit. It is often employed when quantitative recovery of the analyte is paramount for accurate analysis.
