Fraction extracted
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004627
The proportion of a solute initially present in one phase that has been transferred to another phase during an extraction process. This value, often expressed as a percentage, indicates the efficiency of the extraction. It is a key parameter in evaluating the performance of liquid-liquid extraction and solid-phase extraction methods.
