On-line extraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-008241
An extraction process where the extraction device is directly coupled to an analytical instrument, allowing the extracted analyte to be transferred for analysis without manual intervention. This integration automates the sample preparation and analysis workflow, reducing analysis time and potential for contamination. A common example is the coupling of a solid-phase extraction (SPE) cartridge directly to a liquid chromatograph for immediate separation and detection.
