On-rate

The rate at which a ligand binds to its receptor or target molecule, representing the association kinetics of a molecular interaction. This parameter quantifies how quickly a complex forms between two molecules. The on-rate, often denoted as k_on or k_a, is expressed in units of M^-1s^-1.
