Group preconcentration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005040
A sample preparation technique where several analytes belonging to a specific chemical group are simultaneously enriched from a larger sample matrix. This process aims to increase the concentration of target analytes to improve detection limits and analytical sensitivity. Group preconcentration is often achieved through methods like solvent extraction, ion exchange, or adsorption onto a solid phase.
