Preconcentration
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009359
A process that increases the concentration of an analyte in a sample prior to its analysis. This technique is employed to improve the detection limits for trace components by separating them from the bulk matrix. Common methods include evaporation, extraction, and adsorption onto a solid phase.
