Adsorptive stripping voltammetry

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000294

An electroanalytical technique that involves the preconcentration of an analyte onto an electrode surface through adsorption, followed by a stripping step where the accumulated analyte is oxidized or reduced. This method offers enhanced sensitivity compared to direct voltammetry due to the preconcentration step. The stripping step typically involves a potential scan to dissolve the adsorbed species.
