Microextraction (technique)
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007326
A specific analytical technique that involves the miniaturization of an extraction process, often by reducing the volume of the extraction phase or the sample size. This approach aims to achieve efficient analyte recovery and concentration from a sample matrix. Techniques like solid-phase microextraction (SPME) use a coated fiber to extract analytes, while liquid-phase microextraction (LPME) uses a small droplet of solvent.
