Dispersive liquid-liquid microextraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003311
A microextraction technique where a small volume of extraction solvent, along with a dispersing solvent, is rapidly injected into an aqueous sample. This forms a cloudy solution due to the fine dispersion of the extraction solvent, maximizing the surface area for analyte transfer. After extraction, the phases are separated, typically by centrifugation.
