Liquid-phase microextraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006699
A sample preparation technique that involves the extraction of analytes from an aqueous sample into a small volume of an immiscible organic solvent. This method uses a microdrop of solvent or a solvent-impregnated membrane to achieve high enrichment factors for target compounds. It is often employed for environmental and biological sample analysis due to its low solvent consumption.
