Microextraction (methology)
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-007324
A methodology encompassing a set of miniaturized sample preparation techniques designed to isolate and concentrate analytes from complex matrices using minimal amounts of solvent or sorbent. These methods aim to reduce sample volume, solvent consumption, and waste generation compared to traditional extraction approaches. Common examples include solid-phase microextraction and liquid-phase microextraction.
