In-syringe microextraction
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005910
A miniaturized sample preparation technique performed directly within a syringe barrel. A small volume of extraction solvent or sorbent is introduced into the syringe along with the sample, and extraction occurs through repeated aspiration and dispersion. This method offers simplicity, reduced solvent consumption, and high enrichment factors.
