Relative quantification
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010157
A method of determining the amount of an analyte in a sample by comparing its signal to that of a reference sample, rather than determining its absolute concentration. This approach is often used when an absolute standard is unavailable or difficult to prepare. It provides information on the fold-change or ratio of analyte levels between different samples.
