Mass analysis
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006969
The process of determining the mass-to-charge ratio of ions in a sample, typically performed using a mass spectrometer. This technique allows for the identification and quantification of chemical compounds based on their characteristic mass spectra. It is widely applied in analytical chemistry for molecular structure elucidation and mixture analysis.
