Mass spectrometer

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013260

An analytical instrument that measures the mass-to-charge ratio of ions. It separates ions based on their behavior in electric and magnetic fields, allowing for the identification and quantification of chemical compounds. The instrument typically consists of an ion source, a mass analyzer, and a detector.
