Spectral radiance
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011140
The radiant power emitted or reflected from a surface per unit area, per unit solid angle, per unit wavelength interval. This quantity describes the directional and spectral distribution of radiant energy. It is typically expressed in units of watts per square meter per steradian per nanometer (W m^-2 sr^-1 nm^-1).
