Spectral radiant exitance
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011143
The radiant power emitted from a point on a surface, per unit area of that surface and per unit wavelength interval. This quantity describes the distribution of the emitted radiation's power across the electromagnetic spectrum. Spectral radiant exitance is measured in watts per square meter per nanometer (W·m⁻²·nm⁻¹) or a similar unit of power per area per spectral bandwidth.
