Spectral radiant energy

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011141

The radiant energy at a specific wavelength or within a small wavelength interval, per unit wavelength interval. It describes how the total radiant energy emitted, transferred, or received by a system is distributed across the electromagnetic spectrum. Spectral radiant energy is expressed in units of energy per unit wavelength, such as joules per nanometer (J nm⁻¹).
