Photon exposure
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013397
The total number of photons incident on a given area over a specific period. It is a measure of the radiant energy delivered by light and is expressed in units of photons per square meter. Photon exposure is a key parameter in photochemistry, influencing the extent of photochemical reactions.
