Radiant exposure

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009813

The total radiant energy incident on a surface per unit area, calculated by integrating the irradiance over the duration of the exposure. It represents the total energy dose delivered to a surface from a radiation source. Radiant exposure is symbolized by H or Hₑ and is expressed in SI units of joules per square meter (J m⁻²).
